Iraq Security Forces Will Control Half of Country by '07, Says Officer (Associated Press, July 7, 2006)
By the end of this year, responsibility for security in about half of Iraq's 18 provinces will have been shifted from U.S. to Iraqi forces, a senior American military officer said Friday.Posted by Orrin Judd at July 8, 2006 8:36 AMBrig.
