N. Korean missile tests could threaten Canada: Harper (CBC, July 6th, 2006)

Canadians should be concerned about North Korea's missile testing, Prime Minister Stephen Harper warned Thursday after meeting with U.S. President George W. Bush.

"Missiles that are fired in the direction of the United States constitute a threat to Canada," Harper said.

And also Europe, Australia, South America, Africa,. Asia, Antarctica.......

C'mon. Chretien would have been reminding the North Koreans that Vancouver, Washington is the one south of Seattle.

Like Chretien would know that! HA!! He barely was aware of Vancouver, B.C.'s existence!

Trace a 'great circle route' from North Korea to the U.S., and it ends at Seattle (or Vancouver, if the missile runs out of fuel).

Assuming that the NoKo's modified Scuds could actually find Seattle...
Saddam couldn't target any particular city in Arabia in '91, and that was only a few hundred miles.

I have no fear whatsoever that NoKo could effectively attack America's West Coast. They'd waste their nukes in the wide Pacific somewhere.
