Throughout history, erotic dancers have exuded a mystique, as if their tease held the secret to good sex.That secret may be out.
At studios from Los Angeles to Miami, the strip tease is being taught in exercise classes to everyday housewives, mothers and grandmothers. Hundreds of women are signing up for the so-called ''fertility goddess'' classes, with one North Miami Beach studio saying it teaches between 300 and 400 women a week.
The women's aim: to get in shape, arouse the desire from within and wow their loved ones with their newfound erotic aura.

At least when referring to the Ancients, they've linked "fertility" with "goddess" as this is accurate versus the goddess dreamed up by the feminist studies professor! They only need to make Goddess plural now.

Asked to reconcile her militant feminism with the, uh, distracting cleavage window in her costume she says something like, "I'm a healthy vigorous woman. Why shouldn't I show that off? I don't know if this is what you are referring to, but Gilder wrote some powerful pieces in NR in the 80s, ranking sexual "power".
1. Established male (older & rich)
2. Fertile female (powerful, but fleeting)
3. Un-established male (younger - now has to compete with Dad for the fertile female)
4. Unfertile female (pimped over like no other from the sexual revolution)
Though I don't recall Gildre making the specific argument, the sexual revolution sure worked out well for the character-free corporate/yuppie type in his never-ending search for the next "trophy wife".
