My wife and I were just joking about this one. No way the Dems can "fight back" a la Peter Beinart w/o alienating their base big time. They made their own tarbaby.

Another "all-powerful Rove" column. Funny. Rove is a good but not great political operative. Not as good as Lee Atwater was, for instance. He has one big thing going for him. The Dem opposition is so weak that he looks like a genius constantly.
