HECK, IN FRENCH THAT PASSES FOR DEBATE:
Poop prank has Musgrave staff fuming (Monte Whaley, 6/09/06, Denver Post)
A former professor of French at the University of Northern Colorado has been cited for allegedly making a special delivery to U.S. Rep. Marilyn Musgrave that reeked of political partisanship.Posted by Orrin Judd at June 10, 2006 2:04 PMKathleen Ensz, professor emeritus at UNC, is accused of depositing a Musgrave campaign mailer full of dog feces at the Republican lawmaker's Greeley office. Ensz was charged Thursday by Greeley police with criminal use of a noxious substance, a misdemeanor.
At one time, the words, professor emeritus, conjured up a vision of a venerable scholar who had spent a lifetime in pursuit of truth and beauty.
Posted by: erp at June 10, 2006 2:39 PMThe truly hilarious part is that she used an envelop with her address on it.

Jim , Watching a bit of the World Cup. Looks like the Ivory Coast will soon be free to resume its civil war. Real football is getting closer.

Posted by: GER at June 10, 2006 4:25 PMLooks that way. Ward Churchill, Paul Campos (who is intermittently sensible), now this. Sort of reminds me of a t-shirt I saw shortly after they caught the Unabomber, which was also about the time Mad Cow Disease was starting to make the news. It read, Montana : At least our cows are sane.

By the way, how did they determine that the feces were from a dog? Do you think they ran a lab test?
