Drivers are paying $2.919 on average for a gallon of regular gasoline, the government said Monday, up 30% from just 10 weeks ago. Most business travelers aren't going to the same extreme as Goff to combat rising gas prices. Companies are taking steps to save fuel, too. About 15% of the National Business Travel Association members surveyed last week say that they're encouraging greater use of public transportation where available.
