Why are people paying any attention to Seymour Hersh in the first place. The man is a total idiot. He will do or say anything to try to foil any plans of this administration. He really doesn't care the truth of what he spouts at all.

Even his writings about Abu Ghraib are so fake that it is ludicrous. The military had already put out the news 4 months before he did and had removed the people from duty and was in the process of charging them and putting them up for trial. Hersh wrote it up as if it were all new and the military was doing nothing. Result was increased danger to our young men and women in Iraq and worse diplomatic relations for our country as well as potentially wrecking the fledgling government of Iraq. And he won prizes for this mess!! Pathetic individual.

As it is I am sure that the Pentagon has plans for all kinds of intervention in Iran. That is what they are tasked with doing. They are there to protect us and to be ready for whatever happens. Of course they are looking for whatever might happen and whatever response we might come up with. That has no bearing at all on what we actually do. It is just that they have to be ready for anything. Hersh is just trying to ride this to some more sales of his articles. He really does not care what the outcome of his publications cause. After all, he is a journalist!! And we all know journalists don't have a nationality. Mike Wallace told them so!!
