White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan announced his resignation this morning and President's Bush's longtime adviser Karl Rove is scaling back his responsibilities. Plus, as a woman, she could get away with decking Helen Thomas.

Thing! that's going to tear the Bush Administration asunder and magically put Saint Ralph in the White House. "Rats deserting the sinking ship" is one bon mot I read. Of course, this is a ship that's allegedly been sinking for 5 years, so that's one slow sinking ship. Slower than the Andrea Doria, even.
