FORTUNATELY THE BREWERS PLAY THE ROYALS THIS AFTERNOON:

Mexico stuns Rocket, U.S. (John Nadel, 3/17/06, Associated Press)

Roger Clemens was a loser in what might have been the final start of his outstanding career, and Mexico eliminated Team USA from the World Baseball Classic.

Oliver Perez and seven relievers combined to pitch a three-hitter last night, as Mexico beat the Rocket and the United States, 2-1, giving Japan another shot at Korea in the WBC semifinals.

The Red, White, Blue and Orange all lose on the same night?

Gerry McNamara looked to be showing the signs of age and injury more then Clemens last night, even if Roger did give up that non-homer home run off the foul pole. No way he makes this his pitching swan song.

I picked the Aggies.

Glad the US lost. They didn't deserve to makes the semis, especially after the Japan call.

Now Japan gets its chance to lose to Korea a third time...

Well, at least we finished third in the NAFTA league.

With Bonds on the roster, I hoped the US would lose every game. Without him, I couldn't care less.
