NOW THAT WOULD BE POETIC JUSTICE:
Ex-member of Colombian army joins race to unseat Rep. Tancredo (Karen E. Crummy, 2/25/06, DenverPost.com)
Republican Juan Botero, a consultant who once served in the Colombian army, announced Friday that he is running against U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo for the 6th Congressional District seat.Posted by Orrin Judd at February 25, 2006 5:33 PMAnd while he says he will conduct a positive campaign, that isn't stopping him from coming out swinging at his opposition.
"Tom Tancredo is a one-trick pony that is obsessed with the issue of immigration," Botero said. "He has neglected many of the other issues in his district and that's what makes him one of the worst legislators of our time."
This is another exammple of an immigrant trying to take away the job of an American.
Posted by: GER at February 25, 2006 6:03 PMCongress has been a cesspool since it stopped being all WASP males anyway. Or, as we say at Judd family reunions--the wogs start at 1624.
Posted by: oj at February 25, 2006 6:08 PMSome one tell him to get clips of Tancredo on Hugh Hewitt saying the we should "think about" using nukes on Mecca.
When pressed, he said it "should be on the table."
He sounded like an idiot. (is that too controversial?) Botero should join Hewitt's premium site, down load it and play it at all his campaign stops.
Posted by: Bruno at February 25, 2006 6:44 PMHe's not an immigrant.
Posted by: Carter at February 25, 2006 7:26 PMSounds like Tancredo is making it hot for illegals getting into the USA.
Juan should encourage his compadres to apply for legal immigration into the US. Though, It does take longer than sneaking across the border. Taking the easy way was the style of the Clinton Administrationb, not this one.

Major amnesties will be the legacy of Reagan and Bush, not Clinton

Nuking Mecca is a winning issue politically & it's no stupider sounding than the port hysteria.
Posted by: oj at February 25, 2006 9:16 PMGER wins post of the day!
Posted by: Matt Murphy at February 25, 2006 11:06 PMMr. Botero, like Mr. Orrin Judd, supports legalizing millions of illegal aliens. It is not surprising that he supports Mr. Botero's candidacy.
