Dutch Lawmaker Proposes Forced Abortions to Stop "Unwanted Children" (Steven Ertelt, February 21, 2006, LifeNews.com)
A pro-abortion city councilwoman in Rotterdam says that forced abortions should be used to curb the "problem" of unwanted children in Holland and its territories.Alderman Marianne van den Anker of the Leefbaar Rotterdam (LR) party says the forced abortion and contraception would reduce the incidence of child abuse.
Van den Anker has two children and is the official in charge of the city's health issues. [...]
Van den Anker said Antillean teenage mothers, drug addicts and those who are mentally disabled should be forced to have abortions and use contraception if they are having sex.

It was a really tough decision for her -- didn't stop her tho from allowing one last abortion before the ban.

Wonder if anyone in the pro-choice movement will object that forcing abortions interferes with a woman's right to choose? I know, I know, silly question.

'Cause that brown skin makes you stupid and in need of someone to think for you. (Someone like Van den Anker, for example.) Aryan teenaged mothers, on the other hand, are smart enough to "choose" properly.
Crackpots like this lady pop-up everywhere in local governments. I don't think you should draw any more conclusions about Holland from her ravings than you would about the US from some loudmouthed idiot on a city council somewhere.
