Locklear Files for Divorce From Sambora (AP, 2/3/06)

After 11 years of marriage, actress Heather Locklear has filed for divorce from rocker Richie Sambora, her publicist said Thursday.

I heard about this on the radio as the break up of another "celebrity" marriage. But for the life of me, I could't remember who Richie Sambora was.

Wow, 11 years of marriage -- a hollywood success story! Did they issue the now-cliche press release that they still love each other and ask the public to give them privacy during this difficult time?
