Given the Democrats' feelings in general about mainstream religions, Stonehenge might be a more appropriate meeting place than Masada, even if the end result of the latter's habitants is a better paralell.

If we're the majority, why can't Frist just call for a vote? I don't remember Republicans being able to hold up votes when they were in the minority.

Chuckie is quoted in the Times article as having said that he and his buddies are doing a great job because otherwise we would have judges more conservative than Alito: not possible.

When Alito come off the blocks with that slap at Ivy-League peace-creeps, I knew what he was, for I had experienced the same thing, some 50 miles away.
