In Repo Man, one of the jokes is that one of the repo-men once worked in John Wayne's mansion, and found that he was secretly a transvestite. The way the Left tosses out accusations of homosexual behavior against their opponents, you'd think homosexuality was a bad thing. Even the Left knows that no matter how much they may claim to like homosexuals, their real use is as a way to denigrate and insult those they don't like.

Actually, it's not that long ago -- no more than two or three decades -- that the left was as or more homophobic than the right. The right had all been to boarding schools and understood that these things happened in the best families and so long as no one was too open, they could have their young friends/proteges/secretaries. The left on the other hand was largely Jewish, and Jewish tradition was incredibly homophobic.
