THAT'S SOME BRIAR PATCH

President Bush Job Approval (Rasmussen Reports, 12/23/05)

Fifty percent (50%) of American adults approve of the way George W. Bush is performing his role as President. That's up six points since the President's speech on Sunday night.
Rasmussen attributes the rise to the President's speech. It was a good speech, but isn't it clear that the President owes this rise to the New York Times and their fawning coverage of how tough he is in the fight against terror at home?

A little under a week ago all the headlines were saying "President's Numbers Low Despite Big Speech" and now they're saying, "President's Numbers Up Because of Big Speech."
Funny old world, ain't it?

Release some more Abu Ghraib photos and he'll be over 50% again.

Another week of Ricky P and his mates screaming about Bush actually doing something to prevent attacks in this country by intercepting the terrorists' mobile calls and Bush'll be at 80%.

Our fellow Amerikins on the left just can't understand how 50% of us can be so stupid and brainwashed as to approve of this lying, greedy, evil, manipulative, did I say evil, power hungry, and very evil religious fanatic and the job he's doing as President. Their rantings are sad, but they bring a smile to my face and laughter into my life during these otherwise cold, dark and gloomy December days.

If the news that we're monitoring Moslem homes and mosques for nukes (a couple of posts ahead of this one) gets into the papers, Bush's numbers will skyrocket.

The Seattle news outlets' websites all seem to mention some variation of "without a warrant" in the headline or first paragraph. A good sign they still haven't figured out that the whole spying and wiretaps stuff is not a negative, and the only people who will have a problem with this latest revelation are CAIR and their Leftist useful idiots.

Bush Spied
And so no Americans died!

Is this from the same folks who reported that the economy is the worst since Hubert Heever?

Can anything they say be believed anymore?

Does a worldly dictator worry over his current standing in the opinion polls?

For example, as long as Castro keeps all the guns, he couldn't care less about his uptick or down in his Havana Courier-Journal weekly job-satisfaction poll.
