Defense Lawyers in Terror Cases Plan Challenges Over Spy Efforts (ERIC LICHTBLAU and JAMES RISEN, 12/28/05, NY Times)
Defense lawyers in some of the country's biggest terrorism cases say they plan to bring legal challenges to determine whether the National Security Agency used illegal wiretaps against several dozen Muslim men tied to Al Qaeda.
Just don't bring them to trial.

It would be interesting to see what effect it would have on the '06 vote if some liberal judge was assigned to the case and ordered a few of the terrorists released just prior to election day because of the information released by the New York Times.
My guess is OJ would get his 60-seat GOP Senate.
