IT WOULD BE AMUSING ANYWAY:
Well, would you hire
this man to be gov? (JOE MAHONEY, 12/30/05, NY DAILY NEWS)
Could New York's state capitol building become the next Trump Tower?Posted by Orrin Judd at December 30, 2005 1:33 PMRepublican sources said The Donald - who in 1999 toyed with the idea of running for the White House on the Reform Party line - is mulling a bid to persuade New Yorkers to hire him as their next governor.
I can't see the Donald winning the governorship as the non NYC sectors of the state probably can't stand him.
I think Weld would make a decent candidate and should give Spitzer a run for his money if he runs a good campaign. But if the Donald and others keep pulling attention away from Weld he won't have a shot.

Posted by: toe at December 30, 2005 6:34 PMI am no fan of Trump; however, if you ever heard his Congressional testimony concerning the United Nations building renovations and how much the UN is wasting then you'd vote for the man.
