President George W. Bush planned to bomb pan-Arab television broadcaster al-Jazeera, British newspaper the Daily Mirror said, citing a Downing Street memo marked "Top Secret".

Information is too important to be left to the establishment editors. It's not a shocking statement; we already agreed the principle applies to war and generalship. It's a natural.
