WHICH IS THE NITROGLYCERINE ANNIVERSARY?:
'Couple among Jordan suicide bombers' (Guardian Unlimited, 11/11/05)
A husband and wife were among four Iraqis who bombed hotels in the Jordanian capital Amman on Wednesday, according to a statement from the militant group, al-Qaida in Iraq."A group of martyrdom-seekers carried out the planning and implementation. They comprised three men and a woman who decided to accompany her husband on the path to martyrdom," the statement said.
"All of these are Iraqis from the land between the two rivers," it said, alluding to Iraq's ancient name, Mesopotamia. "They vowed to die and they chose the shortest route to receive the blessings of God."

Will she have to watch him enjoy his 73 virgins?
Posted by: Robert Duquette at November 11, 2005 5:21 PMIt probably beats having to do it herself.

She she gets virgins too...okay!
Yeah, right. Iraqis who wanted to blow themselves up chose the "shortest route"... by leaving Iraq and its targets and going into Jordan? This is just Al Qaeda reading the paper, seeing Democrats claiming that the war in Iraq is creating terrorists, and fulfilling the fantasies of the anti-war nutzos. I'd bet that those four were either home-grown or Palestinians... but Iraqis, no way.
