PSSST....HE'S CHIEF JUSTICE NOW
The Supreme Court (DNC.org, October 5, 2005)
The Supreme Court is the ultimate guardian of our freedoms, and any nominee to the nation's highest court has the responsibility to prove to the Senate and the American people that he will be a fervent guardian of our liberty. The administration and its Republican allies are employing a deny-and-delay strategy, trying to make the confirmation process nothing more than a rubber stamp.
But Democrats know it is vital to ask John Roberts the important questions about his record and his views that will determine whether or not he will protect our freedoms as a Supreme Court justice, including questions about his commitment to our fundamental values, like civil rights, voting rights, public education, reproductive rights, environmental protections, and much more.
Maybe they didn't get the memo?
That's why you're supposed to submit stuff like that to the proofreader, instead of just hitting "send", though with the current state of DNC finances, paying for a copy editor probably isn't high on their to-do list.
