LUCKILY TVs ARE CHEAP:
Chesney: Losing Zellweger Hurts Like Having TV Stolen (Denver Channel, October 31, 2005)
Kenny Chesney told Life magazine that breaking up with Renee Zellweger was "like opening the door to your house and having someone come in and take your big-screen TV off the wall during the big game, and there's nothing you can do about it."
Likewise, modern televisions don't have knobs to fiddle with. Posted by Orrin Judd at October 31, 2005 4:44 PM

And they say that tv adds 15 pounds too.

Dick Cheney told Life magazine that breaking up with Scooter Libby was "like opening the door to your house and not being able to find the remote for your big-screen TV during the big game, but then you find it two minutes later."
C&W top song:
"You told me to turn you on, but I couldn't find your remote".

I have no idea who these people are or what they do or what it is about them that makes them famous, or even worthy of attention, or what makes this a story, or why I should care. And I think for all that I should be extremely thankful.
(It was even more confusing when I read the first name as "Cheney".)
Posted by: Raoul Ortega at October 31, 2005 6:30 PMCheney'd be very worried about losing the plasma.
Posted by: oj at October 31, 2005 7:11 PMRaoul: Now that Plame, Katrina, and Meiers are behind us, this may be the most important story of the week(I don't know who they are either, although I think she's an "important movie actress."
Posted by: Ed at October 31, 2005 7:25 PMChesney's got enough money. Just TiVo the the big game, go out to Best Buy and get another big screen set and put it on wall so you can watch the replay (besides, I don't remember Zellweger having that big a screen to begin with).
Posted by: John at October 31, 2005 7:39 PMZellweger is 105 lbs, soping wet. She is a very good actress, but would I rather have her or a plasma TV?
Posted by: Robert Schwartz at October 31, 2005 8:09 PMThat kind of makes Renee more of a flat-screen TV, doesn't it?
Posted by: John at October 31, 2005 9:01 PMkenny will have his high-def screen in two shakes of a lamb's tail, and won't look back. even I have tossed back better than RZ.
