BY "FASCIST" HE PRESUMABLY MEANS ANTI-BOLSHEVIK?

Warren Beatty: Schwarzenegger 'Fascist' (NewsMax, 9/23/05)

Actor Warren Beatty leveled a blistering political assault on Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger on Thursday night, accusing him of governing "by show, by spin, by cosmetics and photos ops."

Beatty made his remarks at a convention of the California Nurses Association, an organization that has emerged in the last year as one of Schwarzenegger's most vociferous critics. [...]

But Beatty used most of his address to rail against the Republican governor's "year of reform" ballot initiatives in the Nov. 8 special election. Schwarzenegger is pushing several measures that would curb the power of the Democrat-controlled Legislature and the state's powerful public employee unions.

Beatty, who has criticized the governor several times this year, called the initiatives "union busting" and "fascist."

You're right. What the left means by fascist is anti-liberal. I doubt Beatty knows what Bolshevik means?

Amusing that he thinks Schwarzenegger is governing by show, by spin, by cosmetics and photos ops. Well if anyone would know, it would Beatty who looks like he might have even been to the NipNTuck clinic a couple too many times.

Given his Nurse Ratched audience I'm amazed he didn't catch the vibe and go for the left-oratory trifecta and call Gov. S a racist and Nazi as well. He's off his game.

Anybody remember the interminable speech this goofball gave a few years ago upon receipt of a Lifetime Achievement trophy at the Academy Awards? I think at one point he was down to thanking his family pets for their hospitality.

erp: Beatty is a political fool, but he knows who the Bolsheviks were.

He really needs to set up the Cadres, so they can
be ready 12 years from now; (Running man reference) The fact that Reed according to the
Reds screenplay, thought Emma goldman, too middle
of the road, and died trying to 'raise the consciousness' of Azeri Muslims, gives you his
perspective.
