MUST BE SOME FBI FILE:

The next confirmations (Robert Novak, 6/12/05, Chicago Sun-Times)

Michigan Appeals Court Judge Henry Saad, one of two judicial nominees sacrificed in the compromise agreement, may not even have the 50 votes needed for majority approval, much less the 60 senators needed for cloture.

He sent an email criticizing Senator Stabenow, and as McCain-Feingold proves, Senators won't tolerate criticism.

Although if the article is correct and Saad doesn't have 50 votes, it doesn't seem to make much difference whether cloture is attained or not.

No details have been leaked to the media about the judge, so I wonder. Maybe the raw FBI sewage doesn't smell as bad as Reid said it did.

The judge deserves his day in court. Let each senator stand up and vote and maybe some of them will remember why they were elected and by whom.
