WHY NOT REPLACE IT WITH BERING SEA?:

Canadian Jews Have 'Israel' Deleted From 'Jerusalem' Passports (Arutz Shiva, Mar 13, '05)

Canadian Jews born in Jerusalem are having their passports recalled in order to erase the word “Israel” from beside the name of the Jewish State’s capital.

B’nai Brith of Canada has filed an application for judicial review of the Government’s policy to deny Canadian citizens born in Jerusalem the right to have Israel noted in their passports as their country of birth.

Though the request was filed on behalf of a 17-year-old Torontonian, many others have now been affected by the Canadian policy as well. In recent months, scores of Canadian Jews have been contacted by Canadian Passport Office officials and told to surrender their passports showing Jerusalem, Israel as the country of birth.

Well, even prior to 1967 Jersalem was only half-occupied by Jordan. Are they going to the trouble of determining in what part of Jerusalem these people where born, or just caving into the myth of Al-Aqsa and "thrid holiest site" crap that you can't find before 1948?

What exactly is about dhimmitude and surrender to an inferior culture that makes it so appealing for Leftwing dominated Western societies? These people aren't just selling the rope, but tying it to the tree and fitting the noose around their own necks.

This article links to another article reporting that it is also US policy to list the birthplace as "Jerusalem" rather than "Jerusalem, Israel" despite a law directing that passport holders have the right to have their birthplace listed as "Jerusalem, Israel." The State Department was sued for refusing to follow the law, and the court held that the matter was not justiciable. Probably the right result for the wrong reason. The right reason would be because the president has plenary authority over foreign relations.

And in other breaking news, separatist Quebecers born in the province will have the word "CANADA" removed from the cover of THEIR passports.

Why doesn't Israel just do the right thing and erase Canada from the map in retaliation?

David:

They're allowed to but it's not policy, right?

Mr. Ortega;

It's not that they favor Caliphascism but that they hate the West.

But it's a self-destructive kind of hate that makes no sense. Why ally with, or make oneselves subservient to, people who have repeatedly stated that they hate everything you stand for and hold dear, and will kill you at the first opportunity? Do these Leftists really think they are just kidding, that it's just so much political posturing to keep their masses happy, or do they think that they have some special powers or a free pass that will spare them from the Holocaust they help to unleash? If teither is really the case, we haven't seen people who will be that unpleasantly surprised by their own gullibility since Stalin woke up on the day Barbarosa started.

(And I like the idea of allowing Quebeckers that option for their passports.)

Iran and Canada we will have to do the heavy lifting. Iran with B52s. Canada with a detachment of Boy Scouts.

Ps.137
[1] By the waters of Babylon, there we sat down and wept, when we remembered Zion.
[2] On the willows there we hung up our lyres.
[3] For there our captors required of us songs, and our tormentors, mirth, saying, "Sing us one of the songs of Zion!"
[4] How shall we sing the LORD's song in a foreign land?
[5] If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand wither!
[6] Let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth,
if I do not remember you, if I do not set Jerusalem above my highest joy!

Eh, so what?

Don't get me wrong, I will take it as cause for concern if a real country ever does the same.

But Canada has long since ceased to be a country whose opinion on anything matters, and all the Canadians worth talking to have already wised up and left for the States. So why should anyone ever care what effeminate, Frenchy moose-fuckers care?

OJ: According to the second article, the State Department is refusing to add "Israel" when asked, despite a statute that says that it must.
