THUMBING THEIR OTHER EYE::

Bush recommends Wolfowitz for World Bank (Times of London, 3/16/05)

President Geroge W. Bush is to nominate Paul Wolfowitz, the controversial Deputy Defense Secretary, to take over as head of the World Bank.

Speaking at a press conference today Mr Bush told reporters he thought Mr Wolfowitz would be a strong president of the World Bank.

"He is a skilled diplomat. Paul is committed to development. He is a compassionate, decent man, who will do a fine job in the World Bank," Mr Bush said.

Realists, still dizzy from the Bolton blow, must be reeling.

If anyone gets bored with March Madness over the next few days, they can bide their time by surfing the web to spot as many "Nefarious/evil neocon/Jewish banker" references as you can flowering out of the announcement of Wolfowitz's nomination.

Moving all the neocons to the international institutions. It will do them some good. Wait until Dick C. becomes Secretary General of the UN.
