JUST ANOTHER DAY IN ISLAM:
Qathafi wants freedom to prosper in Libya (Arabic News, 3/3/2005)
Here are some excerpts from a report by the official news agency in Libya on Muammar al-Qathafi's statements:Posted by Orrin Judd at March 3, 2005 12:10 PMThe Leader underscored the need to launch full freedom in Libya, the Jamahiri state " the state of men and women, a country which is all civilian society and is self- run."
He called for lifting all restrictions that stand in the face of this, so that Libyans be fully free in selecting economic activities, including founding companies on partnership bases, or on the bases of wages " work with fees".
The Leader also stressed the freedom of scientific research, freedom of knowledge, education, i.e. the individual learns what he wants outside the stereotype educational system, which he referred to as becoming reactionary and its curriculum as well as educational hierarchy must be reviewed.
The leader also underscored the freedom of faith, worship, and religion, since the righteousness and the taboos are clear, and that we are not in a dark, reactionary closed and theocratic society. He also emphasized the freedom to establish various economic, social and scientific institutions.
I don't understand. Does this mean that citizens of Libya haven't been free to do this all along? Will there multiparty elections? Please explain what this means.

Libya will do whatever Karl Rove lets them do. You must know by now that Karl Rove is running the world. I see your questions on different web sites. Instead of asking, just figure it's Karl Rove behind everything. Then I won't have to try and explain the situation.
