WHO COULD STAND TO WATCH?

Queen will not attend the Prince's wedding (Alan Hamilton and Sean O’Neill, 2/23/05, Times of London)

THE Queen will not attend the civil wedding ceremony of the Prince of Wales, her son and heir, to Camilla Parker Bowles, Buckingham Palace said last night.

The official explanation for the decision is that she respects the Prince of Wales’s wish for the occasion to be low key. But her refusal to attend the ceremony in the Guildhall, Windsor, discloses divisions at the heart of the Royal Household.


It's just too big a step down from Di to Camilla.

At least the Princess Consort(TM) has got some spunk. She's the kind of lass who knows which spoon to use, but could still beat you at arm-wrestling, and laughs like a drain at dirty jokes.

One was a drug addict with a room temperature IQ and the other is an old bag who looks like someone bred with the horses somewhere in the misty pasts. And the putative heir to the throne looks like Lucky Eddie in the Hagar comic strip.

Isn't it long past time for the monarchy to just dry up and disappear.

Any of the Mrs. Windsor's corgis would be a better head of state than any of her progeny.
