WHERE DOCTORS AREN'T DOING THEIR JOB IF THEY AREN'T KILLING PEOPLE:
Dutch doctors 'refusing' to perform euthanasia (Expatica, 3 February 2005)
A Dutch pro-euthanasia group has launched an investigation into claims that doctors are trying to avoid performing requested euthanasia or are continually delaying carrying out the request.Posted by Orrin Judd at February 3, 2005 6:18 PM
Maybe those investigated can agree to perform the euthanasia, but accidently misread the order and perform the operation on the members of the pro-euthanasia group. Given how great and wonderful euthanasia is, no-one in the group could possibly complain. All benefit!

"The only time we doctors should accept death is when it's caused by our own incompetence." --- Dr. Michael Hfuhruhurr
Possibly quite relevant. Now would you please walk this line, on your hands, on one hand, do a tap dance, juggle these balls and sing the Catalina Magdalina Wallenbeiner Lichtensteiner Song?

Posted by: Randall Voth at February 4, 2005 3:27 AMI believe Bart would jump at the opportunity to practice eutha...er "medicine' in The Netherlands.
Posted by: Phil at February 5, 2005 10:56 AMIf a doctor does not wish to carry out his patient's wish and perform a legal procedure whether it is euthanasia or abortion, the law should not be used to compel him to do so. There are other doctors who have no such compunctions.
