Teresa Heinz drops 'Kerry' Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, February 6, 2005)

According to The Washington Times, Teresa Heinz, the erstwhile Teresa Heinz Kerry, has stopped using the last name of her husband, Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry, last year's Democrat presidential nominee.

He's fine with her dropping "Kerry" so long as she doesn't drop him.

I wonder what John's allowance is. And when does he get it. Weekly? Bi-weekly? Monthly? Or does he beg for it periodically.

Would she have gone back to her late husband's name if hubby had won the presidency? My guess is no, but only because the folks at Heinz would have told her it would damage the stock price and market share with the public, not because of anything John or his political consutlants might have said
