LINCOLN, Neb. - The state Supreme Court granted clemency Friday to a dog sentenced to death for fighting with a neighbor's pet.

They should have to take precautions to keep their woofer on the property if it can be shown to have a propensity to bite. But a death sentence is simply absurd. Would they were as tough on violent felons as they are on a short 4 legged furry guy! If somebody attacked another person without provocation and caused $34 in damages, shouldn't he get the death penalty too?

What is the Neb. Supreme Court doing deciding a case like this? Don't they have more important things to do?
