The US Marines have landed in tsunami-hit Sri Lanka - quietly.With little fanfare, an advance contingent of 17 US marines have arrived at Colombo's airport, along with 30 US Air Force communications and technical experts.
Eventually, about 1500 US troops are expected to be deployed around Sri Lanka, where the December 26 disaster killed more than 30,000 people and displaced 850,000.
