I suppose this is a step up from four years ago, when most of the pundits would have blown off the speech as Bush using Clintonesque soaring, but empty, rhetoric in his inaugural address. Then the complaint would have been Bush says he cares about liberating these people, but we all know he really doesn't mean it.
