In serious Republican administrations, that shop has always been stocked by a little known "neocon" who becomes known. No doubt that will happen again.
I wonder who will get it next? JD Crouch would be a great choice, but he's been rewarded with an ambassadorship, so I don't imagine he's interested. Look for someone else who might have been in the policy shop under Cheney.
