WHO DOESN'T?:
They hate us, say fleeing French (Jon Henley, November 13, 2004, Sydney Morning Herald)
Posted by Orrin Judd at November 12, 2004 11:40 AMThe French have been supporting Muslim tribesmen from the North who wish to murder Christians and animists, so of course the Christians and animists are angry at the French. It is a betrayal of French policy in the country for about 50 years. But Chirac does whatever his Muslim paymasters tell him to do, so this is no surprise.
Posted by: Bart at November 12, 2004 11:49 AMIsn't the term "fleeing French" redundant?
Posted by: MB at November 12, 2004 12:30 PMWhat did his French doctors say when asked what Arafat was dying of?
We give up.
Is this racial profiling?

Posted by: oj at November 12, 2004 4:46 PMSurely someone (CIA) got a sample of Arafat's blood before he died. Perhaps the real purpose of Chirac's visit can be discerned from checking that sample for some extra DNA.
Posted by: jim hamlen at November 12, 2004 4:59 PMChristopher Hitchens rips into the French on the Tucker Carlson show this week. He said that when he was in Ivory Coast, he had to convince people that he was not French before they would talk to him. He said that the French are the one true remaining European colonial power. They never seek UN approval for anything they do in their "former" colonies. How is it that John Kerry and the multilateral Left can look up to them?
