Canada has no future. Quebec, along with French Ontario and Acadie, will be an independent remedial France. Alberta, the Prairie Provinces, Western Ontario, Eastern BC, the Yukon and Nunavit will join the States. Western BC will become the People's Republic of Ecotopia. The rest of what was Canada will become Welfareistan.

Same can be said for all of Europe. France is particularly egregious in the smog department and, you heard it first here, they use DDT to get rid of the mosquitoes in their resorts along the Medittarean.

As in most places of like opinion, such progressive views enable one to feel superior while at the same betraying how little one knows about what one is talking about. (Can't say huge chunks of Canadian journos haven't jumped on that bandwagon!)

So I'm not sure why Coren (party-pooping curmudgeon that he is) doesn't take this appeal-to-the-gallery for what it is.

Will what remains of the Dominion of Canada survive until it's sesquicentennial in 2017?

Writing from Canada, I can say that it has two problems:

1) no one who earns more than a teacher, or is a lawyer, runs for office
2) if you are a Christian, you are vilified and ridiculed by the state-supported press to the point where you cannot win

Therefore, our leaders are (a) bad for business, and (b) immoral.

This is the plight of the post-Christian era. You atheists may have inherited the earth, but it is barren.
