HOW CONVENIENT:
Twins for Julia Roberts (Reuters, November 29, 2004)
Actress Julia Roberts has given birth to twins - a boy and a girl.Posted by Orrin Judd at November 28, 2004 8:14 PM
This will keep OJ stoked for several decades! just hilarious; paging Oliver Stone...
Posted by: JimGooding at November 29, 2004 8:09 AMI don't get it. What's so convenient about it?
Posted by: Brandon at November 29, 2004 8:31 AMBrandon -
OJ half-believes Eric & Julia Roberts are the same person and have been fooling us rubes for years.
Posted by: Bruce Cleaver at November 29, 2004 8:34 AMAnd "half-believes" is just Bruce being polite.
Posted by: David Cohen at November 29, 2004 9:04 AMSo if we see the twins with Julia in the future, will that prove she had both a boy and a girl, or did she really only have one child?
Posted by: John at November 29, 2004 9:25 AMEric & he had none.
Posted by: oj at November 29, 2004 10:55 AMEvery conservative worth his salt has at least one fruitcake idea in his repertoire. The fact that Orrin's is as peripheral and inconsequential as this one is conclusive evidence of solid moral and mental health.
Posted by: Peter B at November 29, 2004 5:40 PMPeter: I'm not sure which gives me more trouble: that conservatives only have one idiosyncratic looney idea or that this one is OJ's.
Posted by: David Cohen at November 29, 2004 7:28 PMOne? You guys agree that democracy is a result of the longbow?

A former professor of mine who studied under Oakeshott swore he used to relax by prancing around his garden (backyard) in the nude, scandalizing the neighbours while muttering philosophical profundities. I believe Blake had similar proclivities and that he often press-ganged the long-suffering Mrs. Blake to join in the fun. You have a long way to go.
Posted by: Peter B at November 29, 2004 8:28 PMDon't encourage him Peter.
Posted by: M Ali Choudhury at November 29, 2004 9:04 PMI am sure that Dr. Judd and the Neighbors are thankful.
Posted by: Robert Schwartz at November 30, 2004 12:02 AMOJ: Of course the longbow caused democracy. Not only was it not loony, but I didn't even realize there was any doubt, other than from those crossbow lunatics.
Speaking of which, you should read Cornwell's Grail Quest trilogy.
