HE SHOULD HAVE SHUT UP ABOUT '08:

Democrats Question Kerry's Campaign Funds (RON FOURNIER, 11/17/04, AP)

Democratic Party leaders said Wednesday they want to know why Sen. John Kerry (news - web sites) ended his presidential campaign with more than $15 million in the bank, money that could have helped Democratic candidates across the country.

Some said he will be pressured to give the money to Democratic campaign committees rather than save it for a potential White House bid in 2008.


Ask George Soros what spending money gets you in an election about ideas.

Kerry said the other day, when asked about '08, that "there still counting votes in Ohio". Until I see Ohio votes final I'm not resting easy.

That said, you would think someone running for the presidency would spend every last penny to reach the goal. Perhaps Kerry believed all those polls showing him winning easily and eased up.

He will need the money to buy new houses in Boston and Washington and pay the divorce lawyers.
