REALITY KILLED PARODY:

Senator Kerry--I kid you not--is going goose hunting today.

Why doesn't Kerry get a death row inmate, give the guy a loaded snub-nose .38 and a thirty minute head start, and then go hunting ?

The good Senator could show us that he's both tough, AND tough on crime. Kinda like when Clinton had a retarded kid executed to prove his macho bona fides.

Once upon a time goose hunting was a sport. But now the damned things are just pests like squirrels and they do not even scatter at the sight of humans. hardly sporting.

Are snipe out of season?

Is he ALWAYS going on vacation? I don't remember a single Presidential candidate who always seemed to be taking a break. He should try campaigning once in a while.

Or, as NPR would have it in their report, "geese[sic] hunting". Speaking of out of touch.

Now, in Bill Clinton's defense, the retarded "kid" didn't start out that way. He murdered someone, ran from the police (while taking shots at them, if I remember correctly). Then he shot himself in the head when it became clear he would be caught. He wasn't retarded until he shot himself.

I would have let him get jolted, too.

Goose hunting?

I'm willing to bet that when he 'hunts' it amounts to have the gameskeepers chase the birds in front of his patio where he shoots them from an easy chair, like some European aristocrat of the last century.

If he shoots one of the gameskeepers, his wife can pay for another gameskeeper.

How does he like his goose cooked?

(I am very dissappointed that more than five hours after this post, it fell to me to use the obvious "goose is cooked" line. I can only assume that this is due to an entirely unwelcome outbreak of good taste and becoming self-effacement on the blog. Don't let it happen again.)

The picture on Drudge is hilarious. This is obviously the brainchild of a man from a completely one-party state, with a campaign made up of 7,412 advisors unwilling to tell him his political instincts are disastrously wrong-headed.

Michael: I'm surprised that Kerry isn't hunting geese with a snub-nose .38, given that he's said he hunts deer with a shotgun, crawling on his belly in the woods.
