Without the USA there is no UN. We could easily walk away without much changing, aside from the organizational loss of the veneer of practicality and usefullness as a bureaucracy. The UN is the product of the same mentality common to the "idealists' yearning for departments of "peace" and "wellness" to be staffed by like-minded folks accustomed to working as a protected class, insulted from the realities of making a living and paying for benefits such as mandated social insurance schemes.
