IT'S NOT THE WAR, BUT THE ANTI-WAR:

Vietnam Vet: I Lied About Atrocities (Fox News, September 14, 2004)

A veteran who testified to John Kerry about atrocities he committed in the Vietnam War is now claiming that the Democratic presidential candidate coerced him to tell tales.

Steven Pitkin, an Army combat veteran, told FOX News that Kerry coached him and others to say they had witnessed war crimes, even after Pitkin told Kerry that he had not.

Perhaps the Democrats could claim that Mr. Kerry's Senate appearance is a hoax.

Let's not forget, with all the focus on Rathergate, that the Swift Boats Vets aren't done and will probably have more coming. I want to see an ad showing Kerry's picture in the North Vietnam history museum.

Kerry's appearance was actually a craftily spun hoax using 1971 Computer Graphic Interface programming to create a digital image of John Kerry and others in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing room. And any day now,the Microsoft Word document the program was written on is going to turn up, and the senator is going to be completely exonorated.

Do you mean his appearance in 1971 or that between 1984 and today ?

Actually, I've always thought that Goldstein was Bush, but maybe that's just me.
