WHAT LIBERAL MEDIA?:
Corrections (NY Times, July 11, 2004)
An article last Sunday about surprises in politics referred incorrectly to the turkey carried by President Bush during his unannounced visit to American troops in Baghdad over Thanksgiving. It was real, not fake.Posted by Orrin Judd at July 13, 2004 8:33 AM

Don't worry. Someone at the Times won't bother to read the connection, nor will their editor, and the same mistake will show up again in the newspaper between now and Election Day.
Posted by: John at July 13, 2004 10:10 AMTo be fair, it was a display turkey, cooked for appearance rather than to be eaten (the usual mess-hall turkey cooking practice produces a juicy but pale bird); not that that's relevent, I gather it's standard practice to do one such for ambiance.
It's still a silly thing to comment on.
