Here's a way to make watching the convention a little more tolerable over the next four days:

Remember the "Hey, Bob!" drinking game that was popular in colleges about 20 years ago? The game was you had to take a drink every time a cast member on "The Bob Newheart Show" uttered that line.

In this case, during the course of "The John Kerry Show" any time someone on the podium or in one of the broadcast booths says the word "Vietnam" the folks at home have to take a drink. Given that this convemtion is being held not only in the senator's home state, but in the home state of legendary drinker Edward M. Kennedy, I think it fits very nicely into the theme of the next four nights.

The only caveat I would put in here is that people might want to consider starting off Thursday night with either near beer or apple cider instead of their normal drinks, since the use of the word "Vietnam" on acceptance speech night is likely to be frequent enough to cause severe alcohol posioning in some indiiduals.
