SENATOR WHO?:

For Bush, a good week: Between Iraq, the summit, and Reagan's passing, Kerry has been effectively sidelined. (Ron Scherer and Alexandra Marks, 6/10/04, The Christian Science Monitor)

Over the past several weeks, Democratic challenger John Kerry has hammered the president over foreign policy. He has been especially critical over not involving more of the international community. "They looked to force before exhausting diplomacy, they bullied when they should have persuaded, they have gone it alone when they should have assembled a team," Kerry said in a speech on May 27 in Seattle.

But this week between Iraq, the summit, and the death of Ronald Reagan, the Massachusetts senator has been effectively sidelined.

June is the cruelest month.

Sidlining Kerry helps him. It keeps him from hurting himself.

But the Reagan memorials have slowed the Liberal Media Attack Machine down, they are the real opponents, and that has helped Bush a lot.

The guy said he was suspending his campaign in deference to Reagan's death. Which means he should have more time to spend on his day job, which includes...S. Res. 373; A resolution relative to the death of Ronald Wilson Reagan, a former President of the United States.

In his last campaign, Leahy's supporters manipulated the process to get a buffoon to run against him. I think that guy is running Kerry's campaign now.

...except for November.

I have still been seeing Kerry commercials this week, one's that he's authorized. Don't recall seeing any for Bush...
