Reports: Al Qaeda Leader in Saudi Arabia Killed (Fox News, June 18, 2004)
The leader of Al Qaeda in Saudi Arabia was killed Friday, Arab satellite stations Al-Arabiya and Al-Jazeera reported.The news was given in a scrolling news bar at the bottom of the screens.
Abdulaziz al-Moqrin is at the top of the list of suspects in Saudi Arabia and is believed to be the leader of the group calling itself Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, which claimed responsibility for the beheading of American hostage Paul M. Johnson Jr.
Reportedly he and two others were killed while disposing of the bodies. The Sa'uds appear to be doing better than we're doing with al-Zarqawi.

Shortly afterwards, as Muqrin and two other top militants deposited the body in the capital Riyadh, they were surrounded by Saudi security men and gunned down, a security source said.
Muqrin, a young man driven by revenge and hatred for the United States and its Arab allies, was Saudi Arabia's most wanted al Qaeda leader. His death will be portrayed as a major blow to Saudi-born Osama bin Laden by the kingdom's rulers, once chided by their U.S. allies as being soft on terrorism.

Well, all the Saudis have to do is get the info from the people in their own military who are in bed with AQ (I'm sure they don't deprive them of sleep, or any other such horrible brutalities that we Americans use). It's a bit harder for us...

Certain methods of execution should be repudiated by any free people. The commie bullet-to-the-back-of-the-head is one. Beheading is another, whether it's the Algerian method or the Gaulish. Hanging and the firing squad are fine for the lower echelons, but for the big guys (especially Osama, if we ever get him), only the Westinghouse/Edison method will do.

Besides, electrocution is a moderately more humane form of burning at the stake, highly suitable for the heresiarchs of our time.

And while the Saudi security men were exterminating the putitive 'militants', the now headless body got up and escaped.
