By a 50 – 39 percent margin, voters would rather have a backyard barbecue with Bush

That number seems about where the electorate is today on a decision about who you want on your tv screen every night for the next four years.

You know the question is stupid when 39% say Kerry. Under no circumstance, anybody should want to have a barbecue with John Francoise Kerry. I can see 50 Bush, 50 eat hors d'ouvres, drink wine, watch porn, even sharing a Philly cheeseteak with Kerry, but not barbecuing with Kerry.

Bush's approval rate should improve as Iraq calms down and the economy keeps improving. That Bush is much more likeable than Kerry gives him another edge.
