UNFAIR, BUT VERY FUNNY:

Ex-KKK leader endorses Bustamante: White racist hopes Hispanic 'separatist' will spark immigration debate (WorldNetDaily.com, September 8, 2003)

After refusing to disassociate himself from a Hispanic group critics say is as racist as the Ku Klux Klan, California gubernatorial candidate Cruz Bustamante has won an endorsement from the Klan itself.

CNSNews.com reports former Grand Wizard Tom Metzger of the California Klan announced his backing of the lieutenant governor in the upcoming recall election.

Metzger, who is also director of the White Aryan Resistance, applauds Bustamante for being a fellow "separatist" because of his past association with the Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan, or MEChA, while he was a student at Fresno State College in the 1970s.

Did the KKK ever endorse Robert Byrd?

Actually the strategy of these white groups (at least rhetorically) since the 70's has been to express "solidarity" with certain minority separatist groups. Therefore it always suprises me that liberals do
not understand it when conservatives accuse
minority grievance groups of using separatist
tactics/rhetoric.
