HERE'S A DOLLAR, BUY A BULLET:

Cabinet approves Arafat expulsion (The Jerusalem Post, Sep. 11, 2003)

The security Cabinet decided in principle to expel Yasser Arafat, but put off immediate action, Channel Two reported.

The Israelis made a terrible mistake over a decade ago, when they decided they needed Arafat alive as a deal maker for Palestine. Exiling him is no solution--he'll be given a podium wherever he goes and no one who replaces him will be able to move forward, because he'll be a lurking presence in the background. Time to either kill him or stop whining about him.

This is the second time in 21 years that Sharon has had a bout of buck fever. He will no more kill Arafat than he did in 1982. Bet on Arafat living better than he did in Tunis the last time around.

Only if we save Araft's butt like we did in 1982.

NPR was just talking about the crowds gathering around his office. If the Israelis were going to grab and exile him they should have done it before announcing it at least.

this makes me sick, all this talk. The solution is eminently evident, so just do it. Kill him and be done with it. The one thing that pisses me off about the Israeli's, is they are so afraid to really just do what they gotta do.
