The real question is - how much longer can they avoid collapsing before you have to conclude that it isn't residual Lutheranism that is keeping them afloat?

2) Take a look at their debt-to-GDP ratios. They've been having a party by borrowing. When they finally start paying it back, standards of living will erode.
