More blacks believe apartheid country ran better (Rory Carroll, December 13 2002, The Age)The number of black people who believe life was better under South Africa's apartheid regime is growing, according to a survey published yesterday. In a rebuke to the African National Congress government, more than 60 per cent of all South Africans polled said the country was better run during white minority rule.
One in five black people interviewed gave the regime that jailed Nelson Mandela and denied them the vote a positive rating...
Is it too late for Mr. Lott to claim he was really talking about South Africa, not our South? Posted by Orrin Judd at December 12, 2002 12:19 PM

Reynolds had something about this. The numbers
don't work.
If 20% of 80% say things were better then, then how can 60% of 100% think that? It would take 110% approval by non-blacks to get that.
