I never meant to say that the Conservatives are generally stupid. I meant to say that stupid people are generally Conservative. I believe that is so obviously and universally admitted a principle that I hardly think any gentleman will deny it.

I doubt the kids who fail to get 700 on their SAT's are mostly Republicans.

I've said the same thing about democrats. I can't imagine how anyone with a brain could fall for some of the stuff they put out.
